I Am Alive



Well... this is simply disappointing. I Am Alive had so much promise, so much potential. In the end, it is merely a shell of what it had set out to be. The ambition was high, as were our hopes for this title.

After 3 hours of clunky controls, a bad checkpoint save system that had me replying irritating challenges, and  annoying quick time events... I Am Done. I feel like I'm playing Resident Evil 4 with climbing puzzles. While I did enjoy Resident Evil 4 when it came out, most of the mechanics at the game's core are sorely outdated. They don't fit in a game from 2012.

Sigh. I so wanted this to be good. Avoid this title, move along... nothing to see here.
